Calder Casino & Race Course has announced the creation of Club Elite, a premium seating area located on the first floor of the grandstand, along with a new 12:55 p.m. post time which will begin Friday, January 31.
“Club Elite will provide our guests with many upgrades,” said Vice President and General Manger of Racing John Marshall. “Not only will it offer immediate track access, guests will also enjoy upgraded seats, wall-to-wall flat screen TVs, and the most modern wagering technology.”
The grand opening celebration is projected for Saturday, February 15. Club Elite will be located on the first floor of the grandstand in the area which was formerly Studz Poker Club and will be open Wednesday through Sunday beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Access to Club Elite will be free to all VIP members of TSC Elite, the racing player rewards program of all properties owned by Churchill Downs Incorporated. For members who have not yet reached VIP status, admission will be $5. For guests who are not members of TSC Elite, admission will be $10. Enrollment in the TSC Elite program is free for guests 18 or older.
“We’re excited to offer this new benefit to our TSC Elite Members,” said Senior Director of Marketing Wade West. “The discounted and free admission options for our members are just some of the many new benefits we’ll be rolling out over the coming months.”
Calder also announced a change in its first post time to 12:55 p.m. beginning Friday, January 31.
