Promising two-year-olds in training work under tack on the main track from 10 am to 1 pm. Watch the horses being put through their paces. Viewing railside is the best because you can hear the pounding of their hooves as they run by.

The Fasig-Tipton selected two-year-olds in training sale is held today in Calder's Paddock starting at 11 am. The sale runs until 6 pm or so and will feature promising two-year-olds. Food and beverage are available and Calder is open for simulcasting during the sale.
Under Tack Show for Fasig-Tipton Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale
Friday February 22
Promising two-year-olds in training work under tack receiving an official time for their breeze of quarter or an eighth of a mile. Before each horse breezes, an announcer will alert spectators to the horse's number, which is also displayed on the infield toteboard. Video replays will be aired the day of the sale on February 26. Concession stands are onsite.

Fasig-Tipton Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale
Tuesday February 26
On Tuesday starting at 11 a.m., Fasig-Tipton will sell at public auction promising two-year-olds in training in the Paddock. In addition, video replays of the Under Tack Show where the horses completed official timed works will be shown throughout the sale. Food and refreshments will be available adjacent to the sales area. The sale typically runs until 6 pm or so.
The most expensive Thoroughbred purchased at auction was at this very sale two years ago. The Green Monkey sold for a record $16 million topping the previous auction record of $13.1 million paid for Seattle Dancer in 1986.
In 2007, Calder grads won at the best tracks in the United States including Churchill Downs, Keeneland, Belmont Park, Saratoga Race Course and Santa Anita Park.
